Aaron Blankfield

A Tennesse native, Aaron Blankfield has recently appeared as Nathanaël and the Four Servants in Les Contes d’Hoffmann, and Pedrillo in Die Entführung aus dem Serail with Opera Company of Brooklyn. While he was an apprentice for Sarasota Opera in 2011, he performed in multiple shows, including the cover for Judge Danforth in The Crucible and Yamadori in Madama Butterfly. In 2009, Mr. Blankfield was a studio artist with the Florentine Opera, where he performed Borsa in Rigoletto, and Bully and Dr. Binch in Elmer Gantry. He was also a participant in the Caramoor Music Festival, performing the role of Trabuco in La Forza del Destino and covering Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia. Mr. Blankfield has also been seen performing roles such as Normanno and Arturo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Gastone (La Traviata), Flute (A Midsummer Night's Dream) and Alessandro (Il Re Pastore). His future engagements include Goro (Madama Butterfly) Don Basilio and Don Curzio (Le Nozze di Figaro), Ernesto (Don Pasquale), Monsieur Vogelsang (Der Schauspieldirektor) and Nemorino (L’Elisir d’Amore).
